My love for writing

My love for writing started at Los Angeles Valley College when I noticed I was becoming a better writer due to the writing center's help. Also, a professor inspired me to fall in love with Journalism, and it was my major moving forward. I learned to write specific stories: Op-ed’s, movie reviews, personal profiles, and a city council story. I have subscribed to the Washington Post, Boston Globe, and New York Times to keep up with events. My favorite sports are American Football, Soccer, and Basketball. My favorite teams are the Baltimore Ravens, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, and Liverpool FC. Professor Dauber at Los Angeles Valley College is someone I look up to because he has helped me become a better writer.

When I was a child during the 90s, I miss those years.

I have studied Journalism since 2017 at Los Angeles Valley College and CSUN. I want to become a sportswriter or a video game writer as well. I’m a video gamer, and I would love to write reviews for games and consoles because it’s something I love from the bottom of my heart. I wish I can work for The Washington Post, Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, or LA Times. I got the chance to interview a reporter, and she was the sweetest person I have ever met. She works for the Washington Post; her name is Liz Clarke. She follows me on Twitter and vice versa. I was able to ask her for advice on what to write and not have my feelings into my stories whenever I write them. This is a career choice I want to have in my future.

This means a lot to me because she’s an awesome person who has been working as a journalist for so many years.

At the end of the day, I want to become a better writer, be happy with my career path, and be thankful to God for this amazing opportunity.
