Uniting as one under God

My name is Derek Ortega. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I live in the valley, and I went to the local schools around here. Now I am a senior at CSUN, and I will graduate next spring of 2022. I’m a fan of football and basketball; my favorite club is PSG, and my favorite basketball team is the Boston Celtics. I’m not part of any community as we speak, but I do want to be part of this church community that I have attended in the past because the word of God means too much to me. I’m just interested in religion when it comes to my community because it makes me feel whole with people who praise Jesus and God. From what I know, the people from church transition from in-person to video platforms on Facebook. My main concern was that are they following guidelines and staying 6 feet apart from each other while performing live. I would like to know more about my community would be helping others find the word of God and try to help those lost people become a better version of themselves. I get my news basically like everyone in the world does on their social media accounts. I get mine through Twitter and other apps like the Washington Post, Reuters, and the BBC. The church community could get coverage by a journalist like myself because I could interview them, ask them questions, get to know them individually, and ask them for guidance for other people. Some people aren’t that tech-savvy when it comes to their phones because they may only use them for text messages and phone calls. I’m sure that they are aware of the pandemic that is ongoing right now.
