The mall seems dead with not that many people like last year before Covid-19 hit and devastated the entire mall. Now we have people wearing masks and have to be six feet apart from each other to avoid contact with a deadly virus that to this day roams around us. Unfortunately, we have people still to this day that don’t follow directions of wearing their masks and eat in the malls and have been told by others who serve food not to eat in the mall yet still break the rules. Most stores in the malls have closed due to the pandemic and can’t keep their businesses open because they haven’t had enough income from customers and can’t pay bills and locations. People making lines for stores are things of the past with Amazon and other online stores are making the jump to order online pick-ups instead of going store by store to see in person what you want to purchase and be happy with. Working in the malls I have noticed stores closing and no longer there because of this pandemic. This mall was full of life with people shopping being together and enjoying each other’s company. Hopefully, once this pandemic dies down and hopefully, people can come together and shop and be next to each other as the times before. Taking this image on my phone showed me that some malls are on the verge of closing and never being able to recoup their financial losses. I’m hoping that this image shows how dead the shopping malls have come close to shutting the doors up and being a thing of the past and moving into the future with more things coming our way. Covid-19 has ruined everything for the rest of the people and many jobs.
